Jillian Michaels: Extreme Shed and Shred.

Since my last post; I have driven across the country to Virginia and am now staying in a hotel. Let me just say that the stress of moving is the worst. My headaches were related to a Sinus infection but I feel like if I wasn't so stressed it wouldn't of affected me like that. We got to Virginia yesterday and we have already applied for an apartment. Lucky that a lot of places around here are open on Sunday's. In Washington most places like that aren't open on Sunday's.

I was so busy moving that I didn't run or workout for weeks. I did two of my 4.5 mile hikes but that wasn't enough. Also I've been eating a whole bunch of junk food on the road so my body has just hated me. I was halfway to clean eating and then I just threw all that to the wind. I have gained about 10 pounds and since I knew that I would be having a lot of time on my hands enter a new workout dvd.

Okay, so it's not completely new. I've had it for a while but I never really watched it because the last time I turned it on I wasn't completely motivated and I thought that the kickboxing moves were too hard so I turned it off and never went back.

Until today.

This workout has two levels(level one and level two) Each are about 50 minutes long with all the talking. There is three females: Two are woman that you follow, one does advanced and the other does beginner which I love, and the other is Jillian.  All you need are some hand weights and a mat.

Now, I'm pretty bad because I had nothing. I don't have a mat and my shoes and weights are in the trunk of the car which is with my Husband at work so I pretty much sucked on that aspect but I did it anyway.

I did level one and I was pretty exhausted by about 15 minutes into the workout and I won't lie, I turned it off after the third circuit which is about 29 minutes in. I didn't have the last 15-20 minutes in me. I was so exhausted, drenched in sweat. Some of the kickboxing moves still were a little difficult because of not knowing the moves but I powered through and those reps aren't that long.

Overall I'm feeling good about the workout even though I didn't finish it. Number one rule of working out is to listen to your body and that's exactly what I did.

So I'm happy.

Side note! After only working out on carpet moving to a hardwood/laminate floor is just odd. Hearing every footstep. It makes the whole thing a lot more loud haha!
