First Impression: Rocket Volum' Express Mascara

I picked this mascara up months ago, and never even opened the package until about a week ago. Then this morning I decided to actually use it--ha, anyone else have this problem? buying things then not using them forever??-- and do a first impression on it. I haven't used many different kinds of mascara, I usually just stick to my favorites and not branch out in anyway--I used Benefit's They're real for 6 months straight for example-- but I really liked the packaging. I hadn't heard anything about it and was in a buying mood so I just bought it. I believe it was around 8 dollars.  Anyways,

I may have wanted to not put eyeliner on when doing first impressions next time because it seriously looks like I have no eyelashes. They're there, I promise. I only apply mascara to the upper lashes because that's my personal preference. When I apply it on the bottom, I think of the 'what not to do with mascara, spider legs', or whatever its called I just don't think it fits me.

This is also just one coat, I think that it does in one coat that it takes other mascara's several coats.

For some bullet points:

  • Thin, light weight formula
  • Only needed one coat
  • No clumping
  • Large, but easy to use brush
  • Great separation of lashes
  • Dried quickly

These are just my first impressions, I may do a full on review at another time.

Definitely going to continue using!

The eye makeup used was Toasted from the first Naked palette, Revlon color stay liquid eyeliner, and out of theBalm's Nude 'Tude palette Sleek on the waterline.

and yes, I have a black spot in my eye haha. It's been there since I was born. Theres a name for it but I can't remember at this time.
