May Favorites
It's that time again! End of the month and that means it's favorites time! As you may or may not know May--ha, get it?-- was a very exciting month for me. My husband came home from Deployment and we had our second anniversary. I was very busy had in-laws that came in and had to get back into the swing of things. I have 6 things this month as my favorites, not too many because I wasn't really dipping into the collection much. The first two are:

Swatched: Tarte 12-hour Amazonian Clay Blush
Hey adventurers! I picked this blush up a few months ago actually at Sephora when I dropped in there to get something and I just recently discovered it--still in the packaging >.<. It's not a fall color, it's more of a summer color. It's called Tipsy. It's a coral shade that is more orange than anything.
The pigmentation is completely there. Very pigmented blush this was one swipe on the back of my hand. I've heard that these were very pigmented and they are. It got a little splotchy near the end of the swatch as it trailed off.
I haven't got to wear this blush yet as I mentioned I found it in the back of my collection. But I'll bust it out on one of the nice days if I think about it. I'll test it out and write a review of the wear, watch out for that.
Have you tried these? If so, did you like them?

E.L.F Blush: Candid Coral
Hey adventurers! Today's post is of the ever famous E.L.F blush in the color Candid Coral rumored to be an orgasm by NARS dupe. I do not own Orgasm so I cannot add my thoughts onto that, BUT I can tell you that I like this color. It's a nice coral shade with gold shimmer to it. As you can tell from the photo above it is a little dusty and/or powdery. Unfortunately I couldn't take a picture of it unused for you since I have had this blush for months now.
Above is a very heavy swatch to show the color that you can get out of it. I find that when applying it with my e.l.f complexion brush it's very difficult to get a lot of color. The golden sheen of this blush is amazing. It works as a highlight as well. I wore it alone on my cheeks today and I didn't need a highlight--and I forgot to use one as I was in a rush. I went for a natural look today as well AND I didn't have the time to really get the pigmentation that I wanted out of the blush but it ended up working just fine.
Please ignore the crazy hair. That golden shimmer you see on my face is this blush and I think it looks amazing. This is after my 7 hour shift at work today. I think that the only thing that you can really see thats left is the golden sheen, but it was good and it worked for the look that I was going for today.
So overall this is a very nice blush and I do like it. I do wish it was a little more pigmented though as it took quite a few swipes in the blush and over the face to get this minimal color.
Would I repurchase? Probably.

I know you may be thinking "why does she carry so much makeup on her?" It's because I do my makeup from this bag every morning and if I use a different product I just throw it in there. I don't use all of this every day by any means. It's a little look into my favorite products!

E.l.f's Baked Blush in Pinktastic!
Hey Adventurers! As promised August is E.l.f month and to kick it off, I'm doing a review on E.l.f's new baked blush in the shade Pinktastic. As you can tell from the photo above, it is a champagne color with pink swirls in it. It works best as a highlight and it is an absolutely gorgeous highlight. I'm going to be comparing this product next to theBalm's highlight sometime next week--get excited for that!-- cause they are both very beautiful and there is the extremely big price difference and I think that they exact almost exactly the same. Anyways. Enough about that--that'll be next week!
Now this swatch really does not do it justice, it comes off chalky in the swatch, but it's a very smooth shade when you get it on your face. I find that this was just too heavy of a swatch from it. This color is absolutely gorgeous! It's shimmery but not glittery and I find that it highlights just the right amount. I am absolutely in love with this product and for only $1.50--using the 50% off studio coupon code.
The packaging is cheap and the lid on this one actually got loose some how, it's just a plastic dome onto of the product. With black plastic on the bottom. and it's actually a lot of product for what you pay. They one down fall in my opinion is the packaging but you can't expect extravagant packaging for the price that you do pay. I personally just love this product and I'd repurchase it all day.
Were you thinking about picking this up? What other products are you interested in seeing reviewed?

July Makeup Wishlist!
1. NARS Orgasm: Blush, Multiple, and Illuminator
Basically, I went to the NARS website (https://www.narscosmetics.com) and saw the ad on the front page and well, it got me. Good Advertising NARS. I have not ever tried the Orgasm shade in anything from NARS and I love the two blushes that I have, so why not get a few more things? Make sense? No? oh.. Well... Good Advertising NARS.

2. Benefit Ultra Plush Lipgloss: Dandelion, Bella Bamba, Coralista, Hoola
I haven't heard too many things about them, I know a lot of people got them but I haven't seen any reviews on them about color pay off or anything like that and I am really interested in trying them out for myself and doing a review on them. I picked so many colors because they are all a little different and I'm really interested in Hoola because it's a nude shade.

3. BB Cream- Clinique, Dr. Jart, Dr. Brandt.
I tried the Dr. Jart and Dr. Brandt in the Birchbox and New beauty Test tube and loved them. I'm really interested in the Clinique one because of how well known the brand is for being hypoallergenic and I'm a fan of Clinique. BB cream also isn't as heavy and foundation and I haven't been broken out by the bb cream's that I have tried so I'm on the bb cream train.

4. Too Faced La Creme lipstick- Variety of shades.
I have fallen in love with Lipstick through MAC and Revlon, so to branch out, Too Faced seems like a good Idea, I haven't actually tried Too Faced Products before and these are New so I'd like to try these out and give them a review as well!

5. Korres Wild Rose & Vitamin C Advance Brightening Sleeping Facial
I've heard a lot about this product through many different youtubers and it sounds amazing. I'd love to give this a try, putting on Makeup at night, I'd love to see if it transfers onto pillows and make a review on this as well. This is a pretty pricey product($48) but if it's as good as everyone makes it seems, I'd love to try it out.

May Makeup Wishlist!
I put myself on a 'no makeup buying' streak until I use up completely one thing in my collection, which is going to be hard because almost everything is brand new. But I think that this is going to be good for me and my wallet. But that hasn't stopped me from lusting over things!
1. Maybelline Spring highlighters- I saw this first on Amarixe's haul video and I've been on the search for it ever since, but I can't find it anywhere. I have checked both Target's and the NEX and they don't have any new Maybelline stuff at all. But I'll check back in about two weeks, I hear Hawaii's a late state with stuff like that. The thing is though, it's not even on the Maybelline website so I don't know where I could find it. :/ (No picture because I simply cannot find a stock picture)
2. The Balm Cosmetics Mary-Lou Manizer- Everyone who's anyone has been raving about this product and I really want to try it. I've seen the swatches and it just looks like it would give the perfect amount of shimmer right on that cheek bone giving you that sun kissed look.

3. Sleek blush in Flamingo- This color is bright pink and amazing, and I've always wanted to try Sleek products since they are mainly sold in the UK. I know that they are highly rated products and would love to have one or two in my collection! But this color stands out to me so much and I am a blush girl! (No picture of this one because all of the pictures are from other blogs and I will not be using other bloggers content)
That is all this month. It's been a crazy month from me, having a birthday, taking my acrylics off (I cannot believe I still did that), and telling myself no makeup. But April was a good month. :D See you next month for the Next addition!
xoxoAlaina
